Welcome to Claverham Village Hall

We are working hard to adjust things here at the Hall to keep all our visitors and volunteers safe.  As such we have decided to separate the building. There will be designated areas for usage of the Tannery Bar and for usage of the hall.  We will implement changes for both areas, some of which are outlined below, and full details will be provided before we reopen.

Village Hall

  • The Kitchen, Meeting Room, Skittle Alley and Conservatory will not be available for hire.
  • The Main Hall will be limited to 30 occupants and it will be the responsibility of the hirer to ensure any events or activities are carried out in accordance with applicable social distancing guidelines.
  • Exercise classes will be limited to 12 persons plus 1 instructor.
  • You will enter and exit the hall through the main door, which will only be available for Hall hirers.
  • Hand sanitising facilities will be available
  • You will be required to provide an attendance register after each session which we will hold for 21 days for Track and Trace purposes.

Tannery Bar

  • You will enter and exit the Tannery bar through the Conservatory and once inside there will be a one-way system.
  • There will be limited numbers allowed inside, and once these numbers are reached, we will be unable admit anyone else.
  • Hand sanitising facilities will be available
  • To keep our volunteers, safe the bar will be taking card payments only.
  • There will be socially distanced areas in the bar and skittle alley, and you will obviously be able to sit outside.
  • You will be asked to record your visit in an attendance record which we are required to keep for 21 days for track and trace purposes.

As you will be aware, these changes may be with us for some time and we therefore ask you to bear with us during this challenging period of adjustment.

We thank you for your patience while we make these modifications and we will let you know as soon as we have a reopening date.

We look forward to seeing you all again!

If you have any immediate queries please email info@claverhamvillagehall.co.uk.

Claverham Village Hall

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our amazing volunteers for agreeing to step forward and support us in keeping the Tannery Bar safe and compliant with government guidelines.

As you will understand we have had to make a few changes to ensure compliance with the new guidelines and to keep you all safe. In return, we are also asking our patrons to help us by making a few changes too.

What we are doing:

- Operating a table service system
- Doubling our team with two volunteers working each shift
- Our volunteers will be wearing face coverings at all times
- Adjusting our opening times; Friday 7-10pm (last orders at 9.30pm) and Sunday 12-4pm

What we require you to do:

- Complete the track and trace form on entry to the bar
- Wear a face covering at all times, with the exception of when you are seated at the table eating and drinking
- Use the hand sanitizer when you come into the Tannery Bar and regularly during your visit
- Maintain pods of no more than 6 in the skittle alley and 3 in the bar – keeping within your own established bubbles or family groups
- Pay by card
- Remain seated at your table at all times, with the exception of using the toilets or smoking outside.

We appreciate your support whilst we work together to implement these changes and work out any kinks! Please be kind to one another as our volunteers are working hard to keep us all safe and served!

Thank you again to you all for your continued support. An especially big thank you to our volunteers (long-standing and new) who have stepped up to help us keep the Tannery Bar open and serving.

We look forward to seeing you all soon!

Good evening everyone, as a thank you to the village for being so great Ella Gardiner and myself are going to run a Halloween πŸŽƒ contest hoping to bring everyone together again in the same way the teddy bear and rainbow trail did earlier in the year.

We would like to raise funds for a local charity (within yatton, claverham or cleeve ideally) but we would like your opinion on the charity, so if you know of a local charity we would be able to help please comment below of pm one of us.

More details will follow and if this is successful we will look to run more community contests and support more charities later this year and next year.

Thank you 😊

Please note that the Post Office service at the hall will be suspended until further notice. Cleeve is still open Tues and Fri, and Yatton is still operating as normal.

Following updated guidance from UK Govt, we are now closing the village hall.
HOWEVER, the Post Office remains onsite Monday and Wednesday mornings until further notice. Please maintain #socialdistancing procedures if using this service.
